It was another fantastic turnout for our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Garabaldi Park. Everyone had a great time!

Don Allardice Memorial Golf Tournament – June 2011

This year was the fourth annual Don Allardice Memorial Golf Tournament. It was held at the Country Meadows Golf Course in Richmond. This years tournament had 65 golfers and raised a total of $6000.00. This brings the four year total raised to $23000, all of which will benefit local north shore charities. We would like to thank all the particpants and especially all of our sponsers, without such great sponsers this tournament would not be possible.

Lion Butch Lima is awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship June 2011

The fellowship which was created in 1973, takes its name from the founder of the Lions Club International, Melvin Jones. The fellowship was established as the Lions Club Intertational Foundations highest form of recognition to acknowledge an individuals dedication to humaniterian service. Lion Butch Lima lives by the Lions Motto of “We Serve” and has tirelessly dedicated his time and efforts to many different charity events.

Lions Gate Hospital Foundation – September 2011

Mount Seymour Lions Club has donated $5000.00 to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation for the purchase of two special beds for Evergreen House.

Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay- June 2011

The Easter Seals 24 Hour relay was first held in 1978. The funds raised goes towards the BC Lions Society’s Easter Seals Camping Program. The Mount Seymour Lions Club volunteers running the beer gardens for this great annual event.
